A survey of topics relating to hospitality recruitment was recently conducted and compared to a previous survey (on the same topics) completed by graduates in 2010.
The survey was sent to fifteen hundred hospitality graduates in total, one thousand of which was forwarded to international graduates and five hundred was completed by current hospitality management students. The survey was sent to them via hotel management schools in fifty countries around the world.
The top of the list of criteria which graduates were looking for was finding a suitable employer which not only provided career development and hospitality management training in all related fields, but also opened up doors to responsible tasks, which came with working targets.
This would highlight the very fact that these graduates were dedicated to learning much more about the hospitality industry, after leaving school.
