I read an article this morning which I found very interesting. It talked about hotel restaurants being ‘DONE’! There are arguements to both sides of the story, where one claims that restaurant dining is on the decrease, but Bill Marriot of Marriot Hotels claims that this is untrue.
If there was a decline in the amount of peole dining, this would also mean that the staffing requirements for restaurants would be in less demand. Whether this is a global problem for hospitality management jobs and the industry in general, remains to be seen.
